About the Little Monster

  1. She won't eat wet food when it is time for dry and won't eat dry when it's time for wet.
  2. She's has hernia surgery.
  3. When she's hunting me, she'll hide behind the bedroom doorway and I'll hide on the other side. When I stick my head around the corner, she'll jump up, grab the doorframe and slide down. So far, no claw marks.
  4. She wants her litter box cleaned out between each use and has occasionally found alternates when not pleased with the sanitary services.
  5. She's so cute when she wiggles her butt before attacking a toy or me.
  6. She bites fabric when frustrated.
  7. She likes to exercise before and during meals.
  8. She makes noises in the morning to get me up, like opening the closet doors, trying to open the dresser or wardrobe, pushing things of the dresser onto the floor, in addition to whining, mewing, meowing and yowling.
  9. She yowls at the front door for attention.
  10. She's an orange and tan tabby.
  11. She hisses at children and anyone in scrubs.
  12. She's not fond of being held.
  13. She likes to keep her claws sharp.
  14. She's loud.
  15. Her name is Rose, but I usually call her Little Monster. I also call her Your Montrousness, Monstrosité, Princess Pee, Stinkybutt, Noseybutt, Noisybutt, Kitty, Bad Kitty, Sweetie and Darling. She answers to none of these, but responds to BAD KITTY!!! and NO!!! if she feels like it.
  16. Her favorite people foods are filet mignon, tuna steak, canned tuna, and meatless spaghetti sauce.
  17. Her tail is short, half normal length.
  18. She weighs just under 8 lbs, weighed just over 6 lbs when we got her from the shelter aand weighed under 5 when the shelter got her.
  19. She doesn't purr much, but goes to town when kneading the chenille throw on the sofa.
  20. She is a cat.
  21. She will sleep at the foot of the bead when we are in it, but only if she's cold, and never any closer.
  22. One game she plays is to (try to) sneak up on me. I pretend to be startled. I don't always have to pretend, though.
  23. She usually runs around maniacally before pooping.
