Like Knitting with Toothpicks
Posted on Wednesday, 3 August 2005, 23:04I’ve started again with the Camouflage socks, this time on #0 Inox dpn’s. I’m knitting toe-up with a short row tow and heel, and while I thought I cast on 39, I apparently can’t count. I now have 76 stitches and haven’t dropped any.
The sock seems too big, but that’s just because to pick up the wraps on the short rows I had take my glasses off and hold the needles two inches in front of my nose. Everything, except the dpn’s and those stitches, looks huge at that distance. I tried the toe on and it seems right.
