No such thing, actually, when you type at glacial speeds
Two goodies arrived yesterday: the new throne and a package from M aka TrickyTricot.

The package, as you can see, contained yarn. From MD Sheep & Wool. Which I’m going to next year. For once the camera isn’t lying about how rich the Blue Heron rayon chenille (Old Gold) is. It’s so cool. I keep staring at it.
The sock yarn does look a bit washed out in the photo–I need a new camera–but it’s quite nice and just the nudge I need to start a pair of socks. I’m fascinated by the label. It’s Italian yarn and the label is in German. “Extra strapazierfähig.” I have no idea what that means, but it looks impressive. Don’t tell me. I want to remain impressed.
Well the chair might as well be a throne given its cost, but if you’re going to spend several hours a day with your butt glued to the same spot, the chair might as well be comfortable. I have to say that having a chair that raises to a comfortable keyboard level is great. Though I do now need a footstool. Notice that the arms have been lowered so as to allow for knitting as well.
I have errands to run and a bike ride to take, as the day is perfect for it.
Later.
