Not On the Side of the Organized

I never claimed to be organized. All bagged up and no place to go. The LYS has a sale on all yarn with a 75% wool content (or greater), so I shopped. Four skeins of sock yarn, four skeins of worsted for scarves, and some Baby Cashmerino for a hat for J (not on sale). I got it into ziplocs, but not much farther.

This desk has become a staging area. J will eventually put his foot down, I suspect. Behind the bright red Lion’s Brand Chunky from Stephanie’s event is one wound ball of Lorna’s Laces’ Dove Tuscany, one of four hanks obtained on sale at the LYS. Any ideas?

Many thanks to Bob for the pretty stitch markers and the chocolate bar, which shone it’s light so briefly and then was gone. Real brief.
I could take another picture of the baby blanket, but despite days of work, it doesn’t look much different. Can I get away with it being wider than it is long? The baby will be in her teens at this rate. I need to put it aside and work on a hat or a sock, anything I can put away in a few days.
While I’m knitting I feel like I’m chugging along at a good clip, but I know I’m not. I’m glad knitting isn’t really a competitive sport.
The iTunes Party Shuffle is doing it’s Madonna obsession thing again.
