Tonight’s dinner was wonderful: boneless organic chicken breasts, dipped in yogurt/mustard/paprika/thyme sauce and rolled in a breadcrumb and chopped pecan mixture and baked in a 375 degree oven. Seasoned with salt and pepper, of course.

Perfect, or at least passable, and golden brown, until the glass baking dish slipped from my potholders as I was taking it from the oven and the dish and all four chicken breasts landed on the floor individually and the breadcrumbs spattered the dishwasher front and the side and front of the refrigerator and embedded themselves in the floormat.

J cleaned it up.

I am so p*ssed.

J settled for the refrigerator-section ravioli and packaged organic roasted red pepper pesto sauce that was supposed to be Wednesday’s dinner. Take-out on Wednesday.
