Work is getting to me. Conference call after conference call, repeating the same thing to the same people over and over, and nobody seems to listen, or least remember what I said the last time. Or, worse, being contradicted in meetings I’m not invited to, and then having to start all over in the next meeting.

Then there are the information-only calls where I listen in for close to an hour, just “to stay informed”, and, two minutes after I stop paying attention, someone asks, “Do you think this will work for your group, Mark?”

At least I got a headset before the expense reductions went in.

If I could knit through the calls, I’d get more done.

Off to take an antihistamine.
