• Do left-handed people have problems with yarn spun for right-handed people?
• Do left-handed people spin in the opposite direction?

Just wondering.

My first hat, out of leftover practice yarn, came out okay, but it came out big–for a large man or someone with big hair–and it feels like plastic. It’s going into the Goodwill bag eventually. I really don’t like this acrylic blend (70% acrylic/30% wool).

I finished it with an idiot cord pulled back inside. That was sort of cool to watch take shape.

This is what we are not going out into.

This is not snow coming down; this is just blowing around.

It snowed all night and it’s still coming down. Except when the wind blows and what’s on the ground and on the roofs blows back up.

I did manage to knit another two inches on the scarf last night, but the hat went nowhere. [No picture: it's a practice hat and ugly as sin.]
