Scarf I

On left is the first scarf I finished (early Dec ‘04). On the right is the detail of the main pattern. It probably has a name, but I came up with it on my own. The stitches are a bit uneven and it hasn’t been blocked properly, but was my first attempt. If I were to do it again, I would knit the separator bands (see pattern) in garter instead of stockinette.
1 skein of Cascade Yarns: Ecological Wool; 100% Peruvian Highland wool, shade 8015 (wt 250g/8.75oz; 437m/478yds) knit on #8 needles (Am.).
